Honest note: by default Noorbox works offline and sends nothing out. Can I pre-order Noorbox now?
Yes. You can reserve a box with a small deposit (estimated PKR 4,999 or SAR 99 per box), with the rest paid on delivery. The first batch ships once we reach 10–50 pre-orders. There is no shipping date yet and we will confirm it by WhatsApp. After you reserve, we send deposit instructions on WhatsApp; you pay nothing on the website itself.
How does the deposit work?
A small deposit (estimated PKR 4,999 or SAR 99 per box) reserves a box in the first batch, and the remainder is paid on delivery. We send deposit instructions on WhatsApp after you reserve. Is Noorbox only for shops?
No. Shops are one example. Noorbox is for anyone who wants offline AI agents for their own work: students, freelancers, offices, lawyers, doctors and clinics, and more. You choose the starter agents that fit your field.
Does it really work without internet?
Yes, by default. The preinstalled starter agents run their AI models on the box itself, so drafting replies, documents and notes, summarising and organising your files work offline. Things that need the internet by nature (sending a WhatsApp message, looking something up online, cloud models) need a connection, and only happen if you allow them. Local models are smaller than cloud models, so they are less capable on hard tasks; quality depends on the hardware and will be tested before shipping.
What is a cloud package?
An optional monthly plan (Cloud Plus or Business, estimated prices) that adds larger cloud AI models, backup and sync, remote access and model upgrades. The box works fully offline without one, with no monthly fee. When cloud is on, the text needed for a task is sent to the cloud provider.
Which languages are supported?
The website and the Noorbox app support English, Urdu and Arabic, including right-to-left layout. Small local models work best in English; Urdu and Arabic quality on the offline models is more limited, and we are testing it before launch. A cloud package can improve it with larger models.
What does it need to work?
Power and the Noorbox app on your phone (pairing works over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, no internet needed). An internet connection is optional and only needed for cloud packages, updates, remote access and online look-ups. We recommend a UPS or backup power where load-shedding is common.
Is it safe to let an AI act for me?
Agents are designed to ask for your approval before risky actions and to run in a restricted environment. No AI system is perfect, so start with low-risk tasks and review what the agents do.
Does Noorbox give legal or medical advice?
No. Noorbox agents are assistants that help you draft, organise and summarise. They do not give legal, medical or financial advice and do not replace a qualified lawyer, doctor or other professional. AI can make mistakes, so always review the output. Keeping records on the device can help with privacy, but you remain responsible for following the rules that apply to you.
How much will it cost?
The prices on this page are estimated launch prices. The Offline box is a one-time price, reserved with a deposit and the remainder paid on delivery; cloud plans are optional and monthly. The final price, taxes and hardware specification will be confirmed before your box ships. Memory and storage prices are rising worldwide, so estimates may change.
Will it be sold in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Selling hardware in KSA requires local product certification, so Saudi deliveries may start with a local partner. Reserve and choose Saudi Arabia, and we will tell you the timing on WhatsApp.
